Position Overview

The Construction Manager for Infrastructure & Facilities oversees construction of utilities, infrastructure, logistics buildings, and non-process facilities within a complex industrial site. The role ensures construction aligns with technical specifications, GMP expectations, regulatory standards, and project timelines. This position manages contractors, interfaces with other site buildings, and ensures construction safety and operational readiness. It also collaborates closely with engineering and commissioning teams to support smooth turnover and mechanical completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction of utilities, roads, infrastructure, and support facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, GMP, and local regulations.
  • Track schedule progress and anticipate interface clashes.

  • Oversee contractor performance and onsite safety.

  • Resolve construction and technical issues quickly.

  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commissioning.

  • Ensure timely CTOD preparation and accurate documentation.

  • Conduct site inspections and ensure quality compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.

  • 5-10 years experience in infrastructure or industrial construction.

  • Knowledge of utilities, systems integration, and GMP frameworks.

  • Strong contractor management and site coordination skills.

  • Strong understanding of EHS and regulatory compliance.
