Job Overview
We are seeking a Shopify E-commerce Marketing Specialist to review Shopify clients' websites, identify gaps, and prepare clear improvement briefs for the team ahead of client meetings.
This is not just a Shopify admin role. The ideal candidate must understand e-commerce growth, website optimization, marketing funnels, customer journey analysis, and how to clearly explain what should be improved and why.
Responsibilities
- Review Shopify stores and identify website, funnel, and conversion issues
- Analyze homepages, landing pages, product pages, cart flow, checkout experience, copy, visuals, and customer journey
- Review marketing funnels across website, email, paid traffic, PPC, SEO, and retention flows
- Identify missed revenue opportunities, quick wins, and areas for improvement
- Prepare clear briefs with issues found, recommended fixes, priority level, and next steps
- Help build e-commerce growth roadmaps covering site improvements, Klaviyo/email flows, retention, and sales funnels
- Support implementation by creating clear tasks for designers, developers, freelancers, or internal teams
- Review completed updates to ensure recommendations were implemented correctly
- Continue identifying optimization opportunities based on client needs
Requirements
- Must have hands-on Shopify experience
- Must understand e-commerce marketing, website optimization, and customer journey review
- Must be able to audit Shopify websites and identify conversion issues
- Must have experience reviewing landing pages, product pages, funnels, copy, visuals, and site structure
- Must have experience with Klaviyo, including flows, campaigns, segmentation, or integrations
- Must understand digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, email marketing, and funnel optimization
- Must be able to prepare clear written briefs, reports, or recommendations
- Must be able to clearly explain what needs to be improved and why it matters
- Must be able to provide proof of Shopify or e-commerce marketing work
- Basic understanding of Liquid, HTML, or CSS is preferred
- Strong written English and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with GA4, analytics, tracking, or conversion reporting
- Experience coordinating with designers, developers, freelancers, or agencies
- Experience with WooCommerce, Magento, or other e-commerce platforms
