Content Creator & Reels Editor

Overview:

We are looking for a creative Video Editor to turn raw footage into engaging videos and social media reels.

The role will mainly include editing two types of content. The initial focus will likely be raw footage from school programs, turning it into clean, professional reels. Workload may vary week to week depending on the number of programs.

The editor will be given previous reel examples to follow and should be able to match the style, quality, and pacing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into engaging videos and reels

• Create short-form reels from school program footage and other content

• Add B-roll, captions, transitions, music, graphics, and other creative elements

• Follow existing reel examples to match the preferred style

• Improve video flow, pacing, and viewer engagement

• Handle both quick-turnaround edits and projects with more flexible timelines

• Make revisions based on feedback

• Deliver final videos in formats suitable for social media and online use

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a video editor

• Strong ability to create professional-quality reels and short-form videos

• Good English communication skills

• Experience using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software

• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual engagement

• Able to add B-roll, captions, graphics, music, and creative add-ons

• Able to follow sample reels and recreate a similar style

• Comfortable with occasional quick turnaround when needed

• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow instructions

Ideal Candidate:

• Has a strong eye for clean, professional editing

• Understands how to make reels engaging without overdoing effects

• Can work independently once given examples and direction

• Comfortable editing event/program footage, reels, and general video content

• Can adjust based on weekly workload and deadlines
