About the Role
An expanding global manufacturing leader is seeking a Process & Production Engineer to join its Eastern North Carolina team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in chemical, polymer, or composite manufacturing, with a passion for process optimization, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production operations and ensure process stability and compliance
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality
- Lead technical investigations, root cause analyses, and process troubleshooting
- Prepare and maintain production documentation, SOPs, and change requests
- Support facility expansions, process upgrades, and new product trials
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical resource across departments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering within the chemical, fiber, polymer, or composite industries
- Proficiency in process control systems, troubleshooting, and data analytics
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with continuous improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with advanced process control methodologies
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 per year
Bonus: 10% annual performance bonus
