Project Director - Power Generation / EPC Projects
Location: Tulsa, OK | Onsite | Relocation Available
Pay: $150,000 - $220,000 annually
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead large-scale power generation EPC projects (1+ GW) across the U.S. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing complex teams, delivering high-value projects, and driving innovation within the power and energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Direct the full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) lifecycle for major power projects. 
- 
Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and critical path management. 
- 
Lead and motivate teams of 35-50 internal staff and 30-40 external vendors. 
- 
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with executives and technical teams. 
- 
Ensure project delivery aligns with corporate standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. 
- 
Manage change control processes and adapt to evolving project parameters. 
Qualifications
- 
Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering, project management, or operations (Oil & Gas or Power Generation). 
- 
Proven track record delivering 1GW+ EPC projects on time and budget. 
- 
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. 
- 
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
- 
PMP certification preferred; PE licensure is a plus. 
- 
Familiarity with Primavera, MS Project, and Power BI.
