Job Summary
In todays ever-changing needs in the B2B merchant acquiring space, we understand the need of not just trying to any sell product to our customers but listening to understand their current pain points and providing cutting-edge technology solutions that meet customers expectation.
As a pre-sales engineer with the company, you will bridge the gap between technical solutions and sales objectives. You will help to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling presentations for our potential clients, ensuring the proposed solutions meet the client's needs and technical requirements. You will collaborate with the sales and product teams to identify customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and support the sales cycle through presentations, demonstrations, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study and analyse all of companys services and product offerings.
- Work closely with the product team to develop product catalogues, product sales deck and sales presentations.
- Pre- and post-sales support for products including design, technical advice, and point of contact.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations, and provide support at external and internal customer facing meetings/events.
- Listen/Analyse merchants needs and come up with requirements document.
- Recommend an appropriate technical solution to meet merchants requirements.
- Take a leading role in specifying technical solutions, concept papers and writing proposals.
- Work with internal product team to meet merchants expectation.
- Keep up to date on technical knowledge and handle first-level technical issues for merchants.
- Proactively work to identify opportunities/ new sales lead, understand customer requirement, follow up and monitor closely to win deals.
- To provide product training, consultancy service and technical advice to our enterprise customers.
- Technical issues evaluation.
- Offer consultancy to sales team and product teams to assist with special projects and feature tweaks to meet our merchants special needs.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Engagement:
- Work closely with internal and external teams to meet sales targets and share insights.
- Collaborate and engage with teams and customers to understand satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent fields of study
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-years experience in merchant acquiring, Software- as-a-Service, B2C/B2B Fintech Apps.
- Past working experience as a Technical Product Manager/Owner or TSE in a Fintech merchant acquiring space will be added advantage. Highly experienced in working as a pre-sales or product manager/owner with sales teams.
- In-depth, demonstrable knowledge of APIs and Payment Gateways integration for merchants.
- Certifications in product management, Technical Support, or project management is desirable.
