Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Finance Officer to lead and oversee our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with at least 4 years of experience, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment. The role requires a dynamic individual with strong financial acumen, leadership capabilities, and the ability to contribute to business decision-making and growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

Prepare and present accurate financial statements in compliance with applicable standards (IFRS).

Develop financial strategies and provide insights to support business objectives.

Manage relationships with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.

Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Monitor and ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
payroll computation, statutory payment management (i.e pension, paye, nsitf , itf, etc)

Support senior management with data-driven financial analysis and performance metrics.

Supervise and mentor finance staff, ensuring continuous development and performance improvement.

Drive cost efficiency initiatives and identify opportunities for financial optimization.
Requirements:

B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) mandatory.

Minimum of 4 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a similar senior finance role.

Experience in a consulting, professional services, or similar fast-paced environment is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and financial regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
