Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Work Mode: Full-time, Onsite
Working Hours: Monday – Saturday, (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Requirement: Minimum of 4 years' experience in hospitality operations preferably in serviced apartment and hotels

Job Summary

The Operations Manager duties include evaluating staff performance, handling guest complaints, maintaining budgets, supporting sales and revenue growth and overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, including dining, fitness, laundry, and housekeeping services. The role requires strong operational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure smooth day-to-day hospitality operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain operations within budget, keeping kitchen clean and bars well-stocked and establishing performance standards for cooks, servers and wait staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance, handling guest complaints and maintaining budgets.
  • Awareness of every aspect of the establishment, including dining, fitness and convenience options such as laundry service within the hotel.
  • Ensure things run well on a daily basis, such as making sure rooms get cleaned
  • Supervising food and beverage is a responsibility that affects every person.
  • Drive occupancy and revenue growth through operational excellence and sales support initiatives.
  • Strict quality control, attentive service and thorough cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in hospitality operations and sales within the hospitality, serviced apartment, hotel, or short-let industry.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality operations, guest experience management, and facility coordination.
  • Proficiency in revenue management, P&L management, team leadership, and guest service standards.
  • Good management skills are required for easy coordination with other staff members.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality booking/reservation platforms.
