About the Role

Our European client is looking for a motivated and talented Data Engineer who wants to build a career working with data and business intelligence tools. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in Python and an interest in building dashboards and insights with Power BI. This is a great opportunity to work on real-world data challenges while learning and developing in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Use Python to build and maintain data scripts and lightweight pipelines.
• Design, develop, and manage Power BI dashboards and reports to support business needs.
• Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into data workflows and visualizations.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy in reporting and analysis.
• Support ad hoc data analysis requests.
• Learn and expand into more advanced data engineering and BI practices over time.

What We're Looking For

• Practical experience with Python (projects, coursework, or professional).
• Exposure to Power BI & DAX Functions (personal, training, or professional use).
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Curiosity, a problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Experience with Apache Superset or BI Tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
