EXPEDITION FLEET / CHIEF OFFICER SUBMARINE PILOT

Minimum requirements:

• Previous manned submersible pilot experience
• Must hold at least a Chief Mates Unlimited License
• Valid license and certificates according to STCW 95 as amended.
• Great interpersonal skills and good team leader
• Excellent communication & reporting skills with fluent command in English
• Exceptional hand and eye coordination skills
• Ability to multitask under pressure, organized procedures/checklist minded orientated
• Mechanical & electrical understanding & appreciation
• Good references

Beneficial experiences:

• Experience as chief officer / safety officer onboard passenger vessels
• Polar waters experience – Ice navigation and expedition operations
• ROV pilot / operational experience
• Scuba diving qualifications
• Boat handling experience on small boats / tenders
