About the Role:


The Paid Search Strategist is responsible for managing, executing and maintaining clearly defined paid search strategies for Cuneo’s clients in a manner that supports our clients’ overall brands and goals. The PSS works closely with the Accounts team and Media team to assist in planning and forecasting for existing and future clients. This highly analytical person plays a key role in ensuring our clients’ campaigns run smoothly and efficiently while maximizing campaign delivery to meet each campaign’s core KPIs. This role works independently on each client’s account and collaborate with multiple teams, including the client, to help drive results and desired outcomes.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with Accounts and other members involved with planning and client initiatives to help define goals, KPIs, and outcomes for paid campaigns.

  • Lead development and execution of SEM strategies for Cuneo clients with each campaign focused on clients’ desired KPIs and goals.

  • Test and measure strategies. Frequently analyze to see if strategies are working to help client accomplish their goals.

  • Be proactive in influencing client results.

  • Leading recommendations, planning, and execution of SEM campaigns.

  • Optimize campaigns, adding and changing flights, targeting, ROAS and decision-making as needed.

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance daily.

  • Assist Executive Director of Media, Strategy, and Technology in owning vendor relationships with Google and our programmatic partners to ensure we’re maximizing our partnership.

  • Assist in reporting and provide deep analysis of each client.

  • Work creatively and analytically towards targeted results and help team ensure timely and effective execution of all digital campaigns.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Proactively research industry news, product updates, trends and apply learnings to current campaigns.


Requirements:


  • Four-year degree in advertising, marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 3 years advertising and/or marketing experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years Google and Microsoft Ads/Google Analytics experience.

  • Minimum of 1 year Programmatic Advertising experience.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

  • Bid-management tool experience a plus.

  • Intermediate understanding of building audiences and how they impact campaigns.

  • 3 years of experience deploying ecommerce campaigns with positive ROAS.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to lead internal conversations as they relate to campaign recommendation and results.

  • Reliable, professional, and extremely organized.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Google Ads and Analytics Certified.
