Job Title: Rulestream Solution Architect

Role Overview

As a Rulestream Solution Architect, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of Siemens Rulestream-based CPQ and ETO/CTO solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and IT to deliver scalable, configurable, and maintainable rule-based applications integrated with PLM, ERP, and CAD systems such as Teamcenter, SAP, and Solid Edge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement Rulestream VIA solutions for CPQ, BOM generation, pricing, and quoting workflows.
  • Lead integration efforts between Rulestream and Teamcenter Product Configurator (TCPC), ERP systems, and CAD platforms.
  • Define product configuration models and decision logic to support customized product offerings.
  • Customize Rulestream UI and backend logic to support internal and external user personas.
  • Guide clients through CTO and ETO scenarios, ensuring seamless order BOM execution and shop floor readiness.
  • Collaborate with Capgemini and client teams to define TO-BE architecture and decompose it into functional work packets.
  • Mentor developers and lead code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and performance standards.
  • Support legacy system integrations and data migration strategies involving Rulestream.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-15 years of experience in PLM and CPQ domains, with hands-on Rulestream VIA customization.
  • Strong knowledge of BOM, Part, and Change Management in Teamcenter (12.x/14.x).
  • Experience with Active Workspace, BMIDE, SOA, ITK, and server-side customizations.
  • Proficiency in scripting (VBScript), SQL, and integration tools (REST APIs, batch scripts).
  • Familiarity with CAD integrations (Solid Edge, NX, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and deployment automation.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills; ability to lead client workshops and technical presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement certification.
  • Experience with Mendix gateway and Teamcenter-Mendix configurations.
