Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP HCM Consultant Personnel Administration (PA) to join an on-site engagement in Kyiv, Ukraine, supporting the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in a large-scale SAP HR PA/OM/TM on-premise implementation under the SAP S/4HANA platform.

The consultant will lead the Personnel Administration (PA) workstream, ensuring accurate configuration, integration, and advisory for HR core data, infotypes, and personnel actions.
The role demands strong functional expertise, a deep understanding of HR processes, and excellent communication in Ukrainian and English.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Conduct on-site workshops in Ukrainian with client stakeholders to capture HR administrative requirements.

  • Analyze existing HR processes, identify gaps, and translate them into SAP PA configuration needs.

  • Document business requirements and prepare functional specifications aligned with SAP best practices.

2. Configuration & Implementation

  • Configure SAP HCM Personnel Administration (PA) modules, including:

    • Standard and custom infotypes

    • Personnel actions (hiring, termination, transfers, etc.)

    • Data structures and personnel number management

  • Integrate PA with Organizational Management (OM) and Time Management (TM) modules.

  • Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate and efficient configuration.

3. Advisory & Client Support

  • Provide expert consulting and advisory on PA process optimization, system usability, and data integrity.

  • Support the design of custom infotypes and tailored business processes as per client requirements.

  • Conduct user training sessions, prepare documentation, and ensure client readiness for go-live.

4. Collaboration & Governance

  • Collaborate closely with the PMO, technical, and functional teams to align delivery with project milestones.

  • Participate in status meetings, testing reviews, and validation workshops.

  • Recommend continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in HR operations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-6 years of experience in SAP HCM Personnel Administration (PA) implementation and support.

  • Proven experience with SAP HR PA/OM/TM on-premise solutions.

  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA HR system architecture and HR data structures.

  • Expertise in infotype configuration, personnel actions, and integration with OM and TM modules.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

  • Fluency in Ukrainian and English (both mandatory).

  • Availability for on-site work in Kyiv 3-5 days per week.

  • Russian or Belarusian citizenship not permitted (as per client policy).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with public sector or defense institutions.

  • Familiarity with SAP Fieldglass and Capgemini delivery frameworks.

  • Background in HR data management, payroll integration, or compliance processes.
