Description:

The SAP Finance Lead will be responsible for managing the financial accounting and controlling processes within SAP, specifically focusing on SAP General Ledger (new GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Tax, and CO baseline modules. The role will also involve mentoring junior team members, working closely with C-level stakeholders, and managing offshore and onshore teams.

Scope of Services / Deliverables:

  • Design and transform organizational structures and chart of accounts in SAP

  • Lead SAP FICO implementation and rollouts for multi-national corporations

  • Manage multi-currency and intercompany transactions, consolidations, and eliminations

  • Handle team mentoring, stakeholder communications, and weekly reporting to project leaders

  • Lead and support full lifecycle SAP implementations

Team Description:

You will work closely with consulting teams, technical architects, and client-side stakeholders to deliver SAP financial solutions that align with IFRS/GAAP standards and global compliance requirements.

Purpose and Objectives:

To deliver expert SAP FICO solutions and drive successful system transformations for complex, global organizations, ensuring financial compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment.

Project Support:

  • Full-cycle project implementation and post-go-live support

  • Stakeholder management, including C-Level engagement

  • Team mentorship and coaching

  • Continuous improvement identification for finance operations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules (GL, AR, AP, FA, Tax, baseline CO)

  • Expertise with SAP New GL module

  • Solid understanding of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles

  • Experience leading at least 23 FLC (Full Lifecycle) SAP implementations and sub-lead in 45 additional projects

  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills

  • Executive presence for high-level stakeholder engagement

Good to Have:

  • Prior experience working with multi-national companies

  • Knowledge in financial consolidations and intercompany processes

  • Consulting background with a successful delivery track record

Tools & Technologies:

  • SAP ECC or S/4HANA FICO modules

  • Knowledge of financial reporting and consolidation tools (not specifically listed but likely applicable)

Duration & Type of Contract: Contract-based | Start Immediate | 8 Months contract
