Job Title: Oracle OBIEE Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle OBIEE Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining OBIEE dashboards, reports, and metadata repositories to support business decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop OBIEE reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries using Answers and Dashboards.
• Develop and maintain the OBIEE metadata repository (RPD) including physical, business model, and presentation layers.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
• Optimize OBIEE performance through tuning of reports and dashboards.
• Integrate OBIEE with various data sources including Oracle databases, flat files, and other external systems.
• Implement security and access controls within OBIEE.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OBIEE reports and data inconsistencies.
• Participate in data validation and quality assurance processes.
• Document technical specifications, data models, and reporting processes.
• Must be ready to work with team from India and USA.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle OBIEE (11g/12c).
• Strong knowledge of OBIEE architecture, RPD development, and BI Publisher.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, ODI) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle certification in Business Intelligence or related technologies.
• Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to other BI tools (e.g., Spotfire, AWS Quicksight) is a plus.
