We have an urgent requirement for an SAP PP/MES Consultant for a project based in Hamburg (Montblanc HQ). Please review the details below and let us know if you have suitable profiles to propose.

Project Duration: Approximately 1.5 years (ending by Autumn 2026)

Location Requirement: 60% onsite in Hamburg (Tuesday to Thursday on average), occasional travel to Geneva (once every 3 months max).

Language: German (fluent) and English (fluent) are required; French is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:

Assessment Workshops: Conduct workshops to assess current processes and requirements, document findings, and provide recommendations.

Project Planning: Develop a detailed project plan with clear timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

Data Migration: Plan and execute the migration of data from legacy systems to SAP PP/MES while ensuring integrity and accuracy.

System Customization & Integration: Customize SAP PP and integrate it with QM, MM, LE, EWM, and MES data models.

Integration Testing: Develop and execute test plans, identify issues, and ensure seamless system integration.

Training & Documentation: Provide training to key users and stakeholders, and create comprehensive system documentation.

Go-Live & Hypercare: Support the go-live process and provide post-implementation hypercare support.

Regular Reporting: Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders, adjusting plans as needed.

Travel Coordination: Ensure on-site presence in Hamburg during peak periods (such as testing) and occasional travel to Geneva.
Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of project experience with full SAP PP & MES project cycles (Assessment, Data Migration, Testing, Go-Live, and Hypercare).

Strong expertise in SAP PP module and customization, with integration into PP, QM, MM, LE (ideally EWM too).

Deep understanding of MES and its data models.

Additional knowledge of SAP PM and PS modules is a plus.

Ability to be onsite in Hamburg (60% weekly typically Tuesday to Thursday).
