Solution Architect Dynamics 365
Responsibilities

Owns the functional and technical end-to-end solution.

Ensures end-to-end solution cohesion and correctness.

Designs and takes responsibility for the governance of an integrated system that meets the product owners vision.

Assesses the current systems architecture and works with technical staff to improve it continuously.

Provides leadership and guidance to the team throughout implementation to ensure accurate delivery of project plans.

Owns the specifications and requirements into the systems and environment architecture.

Assists the Principal Lead, Product Owners, and consultants with requirements gathering and provides design guidance.

Facilitates discussions with business and technical stakeholders to translate critical business requirements and present technical visions and solutions in the form of software products, customizations, and integrations.

Provides regular updates on any developments in systems architecture projects.

Possesses deep knowledge of the Dynamics 365 platform including Finance and Operations and Power Platform, with strength in identifying what can be delivered out-of-the-box versus custom development.

Communicates complex technical topics effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Identifies technical risks and manages or communicates them as necessary.
-
Provides best practices and solution alternatives in design documentation.

Leads meetings and workshops with stakeholders and clients.
-
Identifies and contributes to practice development activities.
-
Owns scope definition and estimation for sales proposals and statements of work.
-
Conducts ongoing research on emerging technologies and proposes improvements.
-
Assesses and compares the business impact of relevant technical implementation options.
-
Carries out additional duties as required by Directors & Leads.

Provides coaching and mentoring within the organization.

Officially reports to the Manager, while also reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and the Business Unit Lead on specific assignments.
Requirements
-
Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
-
Professional certification in D365 business applications.
-
Minimum 10 years of technical experience with Dynamics AX and FO.
-
At least 4 years leading and delivering end-to-end solutions using the D365FO platform.
-
In-depth experience with Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, integration patterns, data migration, environment strategies, object-oriented design, TDD, and DevOps.

Strong background in designing, developing, and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Solid understanding of Agile methodology, DevOps practices, configuration management, and performance/testing automation tools.
-
Familiarity with business processes and Microsoft tools including Visio and Microsoft Project.

Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
-
Proven leadership experience in solution architecture or senior technical roles.
-
Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
-
Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
