Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior PMO / ERP PMO Analyst (Freelancer) to support a large-scale ERP transformation and M&A initiative.
The successful candidate will be a seasoned PMO professional with solid experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, capable of independently managing data, tools, templates, and reporting processes for the global PMO organization.

This position requires a professional who is detail-oriented, reliable, self-driven, and has a Six Sigma mindset focused on process optimization, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Initial Setup and Training

  • Complete onboarding and training on PMO processes, tools, and templates (ITPPM, SharePoint, JIRA, PowerBI, Smartsheet, Methodology Frameworks).

  • Ensure all necessary access and permissions are granted for relevant systems and applications.

2. Data Management and Input for M&A Projects

  • Collect and organize project-related data for ongoing M&A initiatives.

  • Input and maintain accurate data in Excel spreadsheets, developing and improving formulas and tools for advanced data analysis.

  • Perform data validation checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of all project inputs.

3. Methodology Templates Maintenance

  • Review and assess existing PMO methodology templates for accuracy and alignment with current practices.

  • Update templates as needed based on stakeholder feedback and process changes.

  • Distribute updated templates across teams and ensure accessibility within the PMO documentation repository.

4. Tool Support and Maintenance

  • Provide day-to-day JIRA administration support, including project setup, workflow configuration, and user assistance.

  • Manage Smartsheet templates and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and consistency of project tracking data.

  • Maintain and update Power BI dashboards to visualize key PMO and project metrics.

  • Support the PMO team in leveraging digital tools efficiently across programs.

5. Regular Reporting and Communication

  • Participate in weekly Methodology & Tools meetings and provide status updates on data input, tool support, and template activities.

  • Contribute to monthly review meetings to discuss project progress, risks, and upcoming deliverables.

  • Prepare structured reports and visual summaries to support decision-making at senior management level.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within PMO operations using a Six Sigma-oriented approach.

  • Gather feedback from stakeholders to refine tools, templates, and procedures.

  • Perform a final review of all deliverables and ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Smartsheets Admin Level Expertise (Must Have)

  • Excel Advanced / Professional Level (Must Have)

  • Proven PMO experience in managing complex, multi-stream programs.

  • Professional proficiency in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

  • Experience supporting ERP or large-scale transformation projects.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.

  • Self-driven, punctual, and dependable professional.

  • Continuous improvement mindset Six Sigma orientation.

  • JIRA (Scrum Master-level knowledge) Optional but beneficial.

  • Experience with Power BI and SharePoint administration Advantageous.
