Department Digital
The Digital department at Schiphol is organized into three Value Streams, based on the three Schiphol priorities: Airport & Airline Performance, Customer Experience and Smart Assets & Buildings. There is also a Data & Analytics team that provides the Value Streams with (predictive) data and the Innovation Hub that focuses on Horizon 2 and 3 innovation. The various "staffs", such as HR, finance and support, are represented across the department.
Where do you end up
You end up in the Smart Assets & Buildings stream.
Smart Assets & Buildings focuses on the development of "actionable" insights and products and services with which Schiphol's capacity (assets and buildings) can be utilized more sustainably and efficiently.
You end up in a team that is fully developing with ambitious goals.
The SmartVOP goal is currently: to ensure that disruptions do not affect the handling of aircraft. We do this by dealing smartly with assets.
The role
As a front-end developer you'll be part of a scrum team working on a new application for Asset Management to help guarantee operational continuity at Schiphol.
Technology stack
– Typescript and ScSS
– Angular 6
– Event Store
– Nightwatch / Cucumber
Who are you?
- Minimal 3 years experience as front-end developer
- Minimal 3 years experience working in a cross functional scrum team
- Experience with GIT
- Experience with BEM, SCSS and SVG
- You like working together in a team to solve problems
- You have an eye for detail and design
- You have a Boy Scout mindset: leave things behind better than you found them
It’s nice if you have experience with
- Nodejs / Express
- Accessible HTML
What we ask
- 32 Hours per week from Monday to Thursday
- Start ASAP
- Contract length is 6 months minimal
