About the Role
The role is responsible for leading and managing Corrective and Preventive Maintenance (C&PM) activities for non-telecom infrastructure systems across sites in the UAE. This includes end-to-end operational oversight of DC Plants, Rectifiers, Generators, Solar Systems, Cooling Systems, and related site infrastructure.
The position ensures high service availability through proactive maintenance, rapid response to system failures, effective outage management, and strict compliance with OEM guidelines, regulatory standards, HSE policies, and defined SLAs/KPIs. The role also provides technical leadership to field teams and acts as a key interface with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage corrective and preventive maintenance activities for all assigned non-telecom systems across UAE sites.

Attend and manage system failures arising from hardware faults, planned outages, and hazardous conditions.

Review productivity, work practices, and ensure efficient and cost-effective deployment of resources, tools, test equipment, and manpower.

Ensure O&M activities are executed systematically and in line with OEM instructions, supplier recommendations, international standards, and organizational policies, while meeting defined KPIs.

Provide technical guidance and escalation support to field teams for complex rectification and maintenance cases.

Coordinate effectively with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and contractors to resolve O&M issues and arrange site visits as required.

Conduct regular audits of field teams to ensure compliance with mandatory tools, test equipment, and operational readiness.

Enforce safety, security, and HSE compliance in accordance with company and customer requirements.

Monitor, track, and follow up on rectification snags in line with defined SLAs.

Investigate incidents and prepare detailed incident reports to support police reports, insurance claims, and internal follow-ups.

Manage monthly preventive maintenance (PM) targets and ensure timely closure of identified snags.

Oversee outsourced resources and activities in accordance with contractual obligations and governance frameworks.

Schedule periodic hardware inspections and ensure timely snag rectification.

Represent the function in internal and cross-functional meetings, and prepare management reports related to business continuity, contractor governance, and inventory.

Perform independent site visits as required to assess operational issues and compliance.
Requirements
Education

Required: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.

Desired: Advanced technical or management certifications related to facilities, power systems, or operations.
Experience

Required: 12–15 years of hands-on experience in field operations and maintenance of non-telecom networks/systems.

Desired: 15–20 years of relevant experience managing large-scale, multi-site infrastructure environments.
Additional Requirements

Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance frameworks, SLAs, KPIs, and HSE compliance.

Proven leadership experience managing field teams, vendors, and outsourced resources.

Ability to prepare structured incident reports and management dashboards.

Valid UAE Driving License and willingness to conduct independent site visits across the UAE.
