Role Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead strategic initiatives within our Technology department. This dual-role position involves overseeing full project lifecycles from initiation to delivery while also driving Agile methodologies to support high-performing development teams. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution, continuous improvement, and alignment with business goals. This role is essential to maintaining momentum across projects in a fast-paced, fintech-focused environment.
Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end execution of strategic projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

Serve as Scrum Master by facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.

Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, development teams, product owners, and other departments to maintain clear and effective communication.

Proactively identify project risks and implement timely mitigation strategies.

Track and report on project progress using tools such as Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Mentor and coach team members on Agile best practices and principles.

Drive process enhancements and promote Agile maturity within the organization.

Ensure the removal of project impediments to keep teams on track and aligned with project goals.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

58 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in Quality Assurance and Agile methodologies.

Proven experience in the fintech or banking industry.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required.

Proficiency with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

Experience using Agile project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership capabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and quality assurance principles.

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
