Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Support Consultant with strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Payroll, and solid working knowledge of other HCM modules. The role is primarily support-focused, responsible for day-to-day issue resolution, system stabilization, and close collaboration with HR, IT stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll processing and reliable HCM system operations with critical timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for Oracle Fusion HCM modules with key focus on Payroll and other modules Core HR, Talent & Performance, Absence, Compensation & benefits, Learning Management.
- Act as the primary functional point of contact for payroll related system issues and user queries for critical monthly activities.
- Perform day-to-day issue analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution, for all HCM modules.
- Support payroll configurations including elements, balances, fast formulas, costing, and payroll flows.
- Collaborate closely with HR to resolve payroll discrepancies, retro issues, and statutory pension calculation errors.
- Coordinate with Oracle Support for bugs in the system.
- Assist in configuration reviews and functional validations across HCM modules
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing for patches, updates, and payroll-related changes
- Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, configuration records, and issue logs
- Identify recurring payroll issues and recommend process improvements or system enhancements
- Stay updated with Oracle Fusion HCM quarterly releases and assess impact.
Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in Oracle HCM systems, with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Payroll
- Proven functional support experience across multiple HCM modules
- Implementation / Support Experience in Data Centers / Real Estate industry is an added advantage.
Functional & Technical Skills:
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Payroll including elements, fast formulas, balances, costing, and payroll flows
- Good hands on knowledge of Core HR, Absence, Compensation & Benefits, Talents, Learning modules
- Solid understanding of payroll processes, statutory requirements, and payroll controls
- Experience with HCM reports using OTBI, BI Publisher
- Understanding of HCM security roles, data access, and approvals
- Familiarity with integrations, data loads (HDL), and interfaces
- Good knowledge of Oracle SQL / PL/SQL & Data Model.
