Project Manager - Telecom & Civils (Fixed Network)

Job Title: Project Manager - Fixed Network
Location: Banchory (Aberdeen) - Scotland

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage design, planning, installation and maintenance of civil works, cable Laying and associated works.
• lead Project Management Department and ensure proper planning, implementation, monitoring and successful delivery of projects upto client expectations.
• Administers the project plan and ensures delivery of project to time, cost and quality in a safe and compliant way.
• Client management - including Tier 1 Contractors, Local Authorities.
• Identifies and manages the critical path for build
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to management
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
• Monitor and track project expenses to ensure they stay within budget

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications industry within UK

- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Proficient in project management tools and software

- PMP certification is a plus
