Quantity Surveyor (ELV / CCTV / IT Infrastructure)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong knowledge of ELV Systems, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Networking, and IT Infrastructure Projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, tender submissions, commercial evaluations, budgeting, and project cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Analyze tender documents and prepare commercial and technical proposals.
• Perform cost estimation for ELV, CCTV, ICT, Networking, Access Control, and IT Infrastructure projects.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and pricing schedules.
• Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage variation orders, claims, and final account settlements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
• Maintain cost databases and update market rates for materials and services.
• Assist in contract administration and commercial documentation.
• Prepare project progress reports and commercial summaries.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and client requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in ELV, CCTV, Access Control, Networking, Structured Cabling, ICT, and IT Infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in tendering, estimation, and project costing.
