Job Overview: As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for our client's manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the company's production lines. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements - Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations - Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including schematics, manuals, and standard operating procedures - Provide training and support to production staff on the operation and maintenance of control systems - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in control system technology to drive continuous improvement Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment - Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI design - Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networks - Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues with control systems - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as NEC and UL, is preferred - Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs is a plus Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits package.
