Senior Network & Security Engineer

What You Will Do

• Support and maintain enterprise network and datacenter infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
• Provide Tier-2/Tier-3 operational support and act as the escalation point for complex network and security incidents.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco ASR, Catalyst, Nexus 9000, and Meraki networking platforms.
• Administer and support Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower (FTD), and Fortinet firewalls.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot IPSec Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN solutions.
• Support enterprise routing and connectivity technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VRFs, VLANs, NAT/PAT, ACLs, and ISP connectivity.
• Manage Cisco Meraki SD-WAN environments, including deployment, policy management, monitoring, and branch connectivity.
• Support Microsoft Azure networking services, including VNets, VPN Gateways, NSGs, routing, and hybrid-cloud connectivity.
• Lead network lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, maintenance, migrations, and security remediation.
• Partner with service providers and vendor support teams to resolve service-impacting issues and maintain operational excellence.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and operational procedures while adhering to change management and security best practices.

 What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise, cloud, or service provider network environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco networking platforms, including ASR, Catalyst, and Nexus technologies.
• Deep hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower (FTD), and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
• Strong expertise in routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLANs, and VPN solutions.
• Experience designing and supporting hybrid-cloud network architectures.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex, multi-layer network and security issues.
• Strong communication, customer engagement, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.

 What Qualifies You

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international clients and multicultural teams.
• Deep expertise with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower/FTD, and Fortinet FortiGate.
• Extensive hands-on experience (10+ years) in enterprise and service-provider networking environments, covering design, deployment, and operations.
• Proficiency working with high-end Cisco routing platforms, including ASR series routers for large-scale and high-performance networks.
• Advanced experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 platforms, vPC, and modern datacenter network architectures.
• Strong command of core networking protocols and technologies: PAT/NAT, IPSec Site-to-Site VPN, Remote Access VPN, STP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, ACLs, and MPLS services.
• Highly knowledgeable in routing, switching, and security best practices, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex multi-layer networking issues.

Education & Certifications (Preferred)

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (experience can substitute).
