Job Description:
Are you passionate and competent about securing cutting edge automotive electronics? At XWARE, we are seeking an experienced freelance Cybersecurity Engineer for Automotive Electronics & Software to join our distributed team based in Europe. In this project you will bring up complete security stack from HSM bootloader and AUTOSAR multiple ECU platforms (Infineon Aurix TC3xx, NXP S32G, Renesas RH850, etc).
Responsibilities
- Implement cybersecurity concepts using vendor HSM stacks (Infineon, NXP, Renesas) for secure boot, key storage, crypto acceleration, and secure flashing
- Integrate Flash Bootloader (UDS) and an overtheair update pipeline (DoIP, SOME/IPSec) with HSMbacked authentication
- Configure CryIf, CryDrv, CSM and SecOC (CANFD & SOME/IP) in VectorDaVinci, ETASISOLARA, and EBtresos
- Adapt RNG, AES, and SHA drivers, validating secure DMA and memory access paths
- Debug endtoend crypto workflows with VectorDaVinci, ISOLARA, EBtresos
Requirements
- Hands on experience with AUTOSAR Classic security modules
- Proven HSM integration on Infineon or NXP, or similar platforms
- Deep experience with Vector DaVinci, ETAS ISOLAR-A or EB Tresos
- Practical expertise in secure bootloaders, OTA, and UDS diagnostics
- Solid understanding of crypto primitives, secure boot, and secure flashing
- Experience with CAN/CANFD stacks, SOME/IP, and asociated testing tools (CANoe, CANape)
