Group Head of IE

SCOPE

The Group IE Head leads the Industrial Engineering functional pillar and is responsible for overseeing the IE function across the plants in the various SBUs.

The role-holder is responsible for defining, developing and overseeing implementation of the Industrial Engineering strategy for the Group. Managing IE projects and keeping technology / know how relevant and up to date is crucial for the role holder.

The role-holder is a Technical expert and is responsible for bringing about process improvements and automation initiatives & Bonding technology across the SBUs.

Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization. .

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION

Masters / Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering/ Clothing Technology with GSD Licence

12 to 15+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering with strong experience in implementation of IE improvement projects and exposure to best practices

5-7 years of heading IE function for a large factory (1500+ SMOs)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for developing the strategy and plan to integrate / operationalize industrial engineering concepts, principles and practices across Brandix

2. Oversee achievement of IE objectives across the Group through rigorous strategy alignment, deployment of IE SOPs, audits, etc.

3. Responsible for implementing value engineering / improvement activities, such as automation of processes and systems as per strategy and plan

4. Drive synergies with internal and external stake holders for achievement of functional objectives

5. Drive synergy and collaborate with IE teams across the group and provide technical guidance and support
