Sr. Design Manager

This position is responsible to administer / overlook & direct functions, for relevant personals for design related activities, maintain impressive relationships with customers, suppliers to achieve design team targets as well as to achieve current market trends, fashion techniques to accomplish organizational goals & objectives effectively & efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Guiding & developing the team to ensure the relevant customer handwriting is followed
• Making sure constant interaction & seasonal feeds are proposed to the customer for Vietnam
• Keeping tabs on the marketplace & trickling down the information to the team & guiding them with the ranges proposed seasonally
• Ensuring the Junior members are constantly groomed up & trained to expected benchmark, mostly with very few senior members
• Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management
• Proactive seasonal proposals based on novelty, innovation, sustainability, holistically to be known as one of the best vendor-based design teams
• Responsibility of delivering on expected total dollar value on design hits
• Collaborating with other Business units on group presentations
• Ensuring the premises are maintained, & ready at any time for customer visits
• Manage customer visits / meetings along with the immediate team
• Building relationships with the suppliers (i.e., fabric, trims, embellishment prints, wash) in ensuring seasonal feeds
• Ensure sampling process is aligned to design requirement along with the PD Manager
• Team Management:
• Recruit design talents, manage the design team, and groom them to meet company standards.
• Monitor KPIs for the design team, conduct performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
