Job Title: Email Marketer
Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and strategic Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of email marketing strategies, including the use of tools like HubSpot and Klaviyo for automation and segmentation. This role requires someone who can craft engaging and concise content, follow best practices in email design, and manage personalization effectively. Proficiency in email reporting and analytics is essential to optimize campaign performance and drive results for our client's brands.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage 5 to 6 B2B and B2C accounts, developing a deep understanding of each clients unique brand and objectives to tailor your approach effectively.
-Design and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies, overseeing all aspects of campaign management from start to finish.
-Set up and optimize automated email workflows to enhance efficiency and engagement.
-Conduct thorough email analytics and reporting, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
-Create and write engaging email content that aligns with each clients brand voice and resonates with their target audience.
-Lead all aspects of email campaign operations, including scheduling, list management, segmentation, and deployment, ensuring successful execution.
-Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues related to email delivery, ensuring high deliverability rates and minimizing spam complaints. Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.), including authentication protocols like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Manage CRM and email database hygiene, ensuring data integrity, segmentation accuracy, and deliverability best practices.
-Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure accurate rendering of email templates across various email clients and device
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience as an email marketer or email specialist, demonstrating a solid background in the field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in email marketing within B2B, B2C, B2B SaaS, B2C SaaS, and eCommerce.
- 2 to 3 years of experience using tools like HubSpot, Klaviyo, and Mailchimp to manage and optimize email campaigns.
- Proven track record of improving LTV, reducing churn, and driving attributed email revenue
- Develop advanced segmentation and personalization strategies using behavioral triggers and dynamic content.
- Stay updated on email marketing trends to ensure strategies are current and effective.
- Understand best practices for writing email content, including techniques for brevity, font use, and compelling messaging.
- Strong A/B testing and analytics skills, with experience in reporting key metrics and making data-driven improvements.
- Knowledge of lifecycle marketing strategies, including welcome flows, lead nurturing, re-engagement campaigns, and retention marketing.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity, professionalism, and persuasiveness.
- Experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple client campaigns simultaneously.
- Demonstrate the ability to confidently speak to clients, manage their expectations, and transfer confidence through strong social skills.
- Show eagerness to learn and adapt to new email marketing tools as needed.
Bonus skills:
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to troubleshoot and customize email templates.
- Knowledge of SMS marketing and omnichannel marketing strategies for customer engagement.
- Experience working with email design tools like Figma or Canva to collaborate with designers effectively.

Salary: Between $1,800 - $2,000 USD per month during the initial 3-month trial period. After the trial period, there will be a salary increase. Salaries at YAMU are not capped and are periodically increased based on performance and market conditions.
After six months of employment, you will be eligible for commission on business revenue, adding an additional layer of financial growth and reward.
