Key Responsibilities

  1. Regulatory & Advisory Support
  • Provide legal research and analysis on Indonesian laws and regulations, including corporate, commercial, employment, licensing, and sector-specific regulations.
  • Support client engagements requiring regulatory interpretation and compliance assessments.
  • Assist in preparing legal opinions, regulatory memoranda, and advisory reports for clients.
  • Monitor regulatory developments in Indonesia and provide updates to internal teams and clients.

2. Corporate & Commercial Matters

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (e.g., service agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, vendor agreements).
  • Support corporate structuring, company incorporation, licensing, and compliance matters.
  • Assist with due diligence exercises for transactions and investment projects.
  • Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and government authorities where necessary.

3. Regional & Cross-Border Coordination

  • Support cross-border projects involving multiple SEA jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to ensure consistency in legal and regulatory positioning.
  • Assist in harmonizing templates, risk frameworks, and compliance processes across the region.

4. Internal Governance & Risk

  • Support internal compliance, risk management, and governance processes.
  • Maintain legal documentation and ensure adherence to firm policies.
  • Contribute to the development of internal legal templates and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) from a reputable university
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant legal experience (preferably in-house).
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian corporate and commercial law.
  • Experience in regulatory advisory, compliance, or transactional support preferred.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and research skills.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
