Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our primary substance abuse Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with the substance abuse population and demonstrate strong clinical skills in both group therapy and individual counseling.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients enrolled in PHP/IOP levels of care.
  • Conduct intake assessments, treatment planning, and progress reviews in collaboration with clients.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on relapse prevention, coping skills, emotional regulation, and recovery support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with program standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support client treatment goals and continuity of care.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision as required.
  • Uphold ethical standards and adhere to confidentiality and professional licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Active licensure as LAC, LSW, LCSW, LCADC, or LMFT (required).
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders.
  • Demonstrated experience leading group therapy sessions.
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices for substance use treatment.
  • Experience in PHP/IOP or higher levels of care.
  • Crisis intervention skills.
