Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Therapist to join our Primary Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The ideal candidate has experience working with a primary mental health population and is comfortable managing a caseload, facilitating groups, and completing timely clinical documentation. Experience in PHP/IOP settings is strongly preferred.
This role is open to Florida-registered interns as well as fully licensed clinicians.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Required Licensure / Credentials (Florida)
- Registered Intern (minimum requirement)
- Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI)
- Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern (RCSWI)
- OR Licensed Clinician:
- LMHC
- LCSW
- LPC
Must be eliminates to practice in the state of Florida and in good standing.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an assigned clinical caseload within PHP and/or IOP levels of care
- Provide individual therapy to primary mental health clients
- Facilitate process groups, psychoeducation groups, and therapeutic groups
- Complete clinical documentation including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team (psychiatry, nursing, case management, admissions, etc.)
- Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical staffing
- Support continuity of care and treatment planning across levels of care
- Adhere to all ethical standards, state regulations, and program policies
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with a primary mental health population is required
- Experience in PHP and/or IOP settings is a plus
- Strong group facilitation skills
- Experience managing a caseload in a structured treatment environment
- Proficiency with clinical documentation and EMR systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
