Never Alone Adolescent Treatment Center is seeking a Licensed Therapist (LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with adolescents, possesses strong clinical skills, and thrives in a collaborative treatment setting. Experience working with adolescents is preferred but not required.
Position Summary
The Licensed Therapist is responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy services to adolescent clients receiving inpatient substance abuse treatment. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, maintaining clinical documentation, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure high-quality care and positive treatment outcomes.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions for adolescent clients.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and contribute to comprehensive treatment planning.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups focused on substance use recovery, coping skills, emotional regulation, relapse prevention, and life skills.
- Collaborate closely with medical, nursing, behavioral health, and case management teams.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and case reviews.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Maintain compliance with New York State regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care efforts.
Qualifications
Required
- Active New York licensure as an LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
- Knowledge of substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Preferred
- Experience working with adolescents in a behavioral health, mental health, residential, or substance abuse treatment setting.
- Experience facilitating therapeutic groups.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and co-occurring disorders.
- Experience working in an inpatient, residential, or acute care environment.
