Primary Therapist (SUD) – Detox & Residential

Location: Tiffin, OH (open to candidates in surrounding areas)
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday (Daytime)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are actively hiring a Primary Therapist with experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment to support patients through detox and residential levels of care. This role offers a manageable caseload of 1–10 clients, allowing you to focus on quality care, clinical outcomes, and meaningful patient engagement.

You will play a key role in the full clinical lifecycle, from pre-assessment through discharge planning, working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-assessments and clinical screenings to determine appropriate level of care
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual therapy and crisis intervention for patients in early recovery
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, MI)
  • Manage a small caseload while maintaining high-quality, compliant documentation
  • Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and clinical teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Track patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and support successful discharges

Requirements

  • Active Ohio licensure required: LCDC, LPC, or LSW
  • Experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD), addiction treatment, or behavioral health
  • Detox and/or residential experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with co-occurring mental health disorders is a plus
  • Strong documentation, assessment, and patient engagement skills

Pay: $60,000- $85,000.00
