Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned group of customers, developing a deep understanding of their business, products, and needs to foster long-term relationships.

  • Introduce new products and services to customers, leveraging technical knowledge to optimize their processes.

  • Develop and execute a territory growth plan tailored to the Industrial Products portfolio, driving revenue growth and market share.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to deliver customer solutions that enhance profitability.

  • Identify new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers, creating and executing sales plans to meet revenue objectives.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets through direct sales and strategic expansion, setting both short-term and long-term goals.

  • Monitor market trends, industry growth, and declines, adjusting sales strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service.

  • Provide ongoing application assistance, utilizing technical expertise to support customers industrial processes.

Position Requirements

  • College degree and/or relevant industry experience.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of direct sales experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of success.

  • Experience in industrial products is preferred.

  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills with demonstrated success in developing and achieving sales strategies and goals.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.

  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and a commitment to delivering on time.

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.
