We are looking for a versatile and proactive Legal Counsel to join our team. In this position, you will serve as a key legal resource, collaborating with various business units to navigate complex challenges and support our global growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with internal departments like R&D, Finance, HR, and Operations to provide guidance on a wide array of legal topics.
- Corporate Governance: Oversee corporate secretarial duties across several international subsidiaries, including the administration of equity incentive programs and entity management.
- Regulatory & Compliance: Lead the groups compliance efforts and corporate legal matters to ensure seamless operations worldwide.
- Contract Lifecycle: Draft, evaluate, and lead negotiations for diverse legal documents, such as software licensing, intercompany transfers, NDAs, service agreements, and employment contracts.
- Privacy & Financial Standards: Manage data privacy initiatives to ensure the company aligns with international regulations. Coordinate with financial service providers to meet ongoing compliance demands.
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a legal advisor for cross-functional teams, supporting daily operations and cross-border governance.
- Process Optimization: Periodically update and refine standard contract templates, internal policies, and legal workflows.
- Project Leadership: Spearhead and manage projects that require collaboration between legal and various business departments.
- General Legal Support: Provide expert advice on general corporate law and ad hoc legal issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of legal practice within the commercial or tech department of a top-tier Israeli law firm, or as an in-house counsel at a global technology company.
- Language Skills: English native speaker or mother-tongue level proficiency is essential.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail. You must be a multi-tasker with a "can-do" approach, capable of managing competing priorities for different stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal communication and organizational abilities. You should be a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal qualities.
- Global Mindset: Comfortable operating within a global, multicultural business environment.
- Specialized Knowledge: Prior experience with data privacy legislation is a significant advantage.
