CTO / Tech Lead - B2C Startup

The Role

As our Founding CTO / Tech Lead, you will partner directly with the founders to translate our vision into a scalable, high-performance platform. You will have complete ownership of the technology stack, product architecture, and R&D roadmap from day one. This is a highly technical, hands-on leadership role where your engineering decisions will directly shape the product's evolution, team culture, and the company's long-term success.

Description

• Own the end-to-end development, architecture, and deployment of our core mobile and web applications from scratch
• Collaborate with the founding team to define the technical vision, product roadmap, and strategic milestones
• Write clean, scalable, and high-quality code while establishing engineering best practices and robust DevOps pipelines
• Build, mentor, and lead an agile engineering team as the company scales its operations
• Integrate intelligent workflows and data-driven solutions to optimize real-time matching and user experiences
• Ensure high platform availability, performance, and security across both B2B and B2C dual-sided marketplaces
• Manage external tech resources, vendors, and infrastructure budgets effectively to support rapid growth

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional full-stack or mobile development experience within fast-paced environments
• Proven track record of architecting, building, and launching complex applications from the ground up
• Advanced expertise in modern development frameworks such as Node.js, React, and Python
• Exceptional hands-on coding skills coupled with a strong architectural mindset for distributed systems
• Natural leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, recruit, and manage a high-performing engineering team
• Previous experience as a founding or early-stage engineer in a venture-backed startup - advantage
• Deep background in building consumer-facing (B2C) applications or two-sided marketplaces - advantage
• Strong front-end development skills and an eye for intuitive user interfaces - advantage
