About Our Client 
Our client is a California-based, industry-leading omnichannel marketing agency for cannabis and high-risk ecommerce brands. They specialize in paid media, high-converting creatives, landing pages, and full-funnel email and SMS systems, helping brands scale revenue while remaining compliant across major advertising platforms.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager / Client Success Manager to join a premier marketing agency. This role is critical to client retention and success, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring a high level of engagement, communication, and satisfaction. The ideal candidate understands how an agency operates and can confidently jump into existing SOPs to manage day-to-day client success.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing communication primarily via Slack

  • Host and lead bi-weekly client calls

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

  • Ensure client requests are fulfilled accurately and on time

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and project outcomes

  • Actively manage client satisfaction and proactively address concerns

  • Oversee a portfolio of approximately 40–50 clients with varying levels of support needs

  • Ensure clients receive the guidance and support needed to achieve success

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a marketing agency or similar firm

  • Strong client communication skills and relationship management abilities

  • Deep understanding of how agencies operate and deliver services

  • Ability to follow and execute established SOPs with minimal ramp-up time

  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

  • Experience as an Account Manager, Client Success Manager, or similar role

Offer Details:

  • Contract Type: 1099 Contractor

  • Working Hours: Remote, U.S. hours (PST, EST, MST, or CST)

  • Compensation: Fixed salary + performance bonuses, based on the experience
