About the Role

Were looking for a Creative Designer / Ads Video Editor who lives and breathes performance advertising someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling, watch, and convert.

You'll be producing social media ad creatives for Meta, Google, and TikTok creating fast-paced, engaging, and visually sharp videos optimized for direct-response performance. You'll collaborate closely with the Paid Ads Manager, Account Lead, and Fulfillment team to bring data-driven creative ideas to life.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong creative instincts with an analytical mindset a creative who understands metrics, testing, and iteration.

Were prioritizing candidates with a proven track record in editing high-performing social media ads, but if you happen to bring motion design or After Effects experience on top of that, thats a huge bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce social media ads (Meta, Google, TikTok) that align with the brands aesthetic, tone, and campaign goals.

  • Craft high-performing direct-response video ads applying principles of hooks, offers, CTAs, and visual hierarchy.

  • Implement fast creative testing: deliver multiple ad variations (hooks, visuals, colors, CTAs) for A/B testing.

  • Collaborate closely with the Paid Ads Manager and Account Lead to adjust creatives based on data and performance insights.

  • Ensure quick turnaround times (1-2 days) and maintain a consistent feedback-iteration process.

  • Maintain naming conventions, folder structures, and Asana task updates with precision.

  • Use AI tools (voiceovers, text-to-speech, AI imagery) where relevant with a focus on enhancing conversion performance, not just visuals.

  • Keep up with social trends, pop culture references, and viral ad formats relevant to DTC and service-based industries.

  • Uphold high standards of typography, color grading, alignment, and overall ad polish.

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing social media ads that have performed well (Meta, Google Display, TikTok, etc.) portfolio examples required.

  • Strong understanding of direct-response principles (hooks, offers, CTAs, visual flow).

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Photoshop, and optionally After Effects for motion elements.

  • Familiarity with AI tools for creative production (voiceover, b-roll generation, or image enhancement).

  • Fast, detail-oriented, and reliable able to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.

  • Excellent English communication skills; open to feedback and iteration.

  • Experience working with performance marketing agencies, DTC brands, or social media content studios.

  • Comfortable collaborating remotely via Slack and Asana, and following clear workflows.

  • Up to date with social media and pop culture trends, understanding whats trending in content and sound selection.

Bonus:

  • Motion design experience (After Effects or similar).

  • Strong understanding of ad analytics and performance testing.
