Mission For Account Manager:
To manage client accounts and drive MORE revenue for them:
Manage clients Klaviyo account
Write copy for emails using our strategies and AI frameworks
Send weekly and monthly reports to clients

The client accounts are being updated and improved upon on a day-to-day basis
Youll achieve this through these primary methods:
- Managing client's Klaviyo accounts which consist of:
- Write email copy and create briefs for flows and campaigns using our strategies.
When we sign a client, in most cases we are creating 55 new flow emails and typically 2-5 weekly campaign emails. These are 75% design-heavy emails so the copy is not as important as it would be in the info product space. The most important parts are the Headlines, Subheadlines, CTAs, Idea, and structure of the email. You will be responsible for using our strategies, SOPs, and AI frameworks to produce the copy for the emails. Once the copy is written, it will be sent to Michael for approval.
- Deliver briefs to the designer
Once the email copy is written/revised and approved, youll send the design brief to our designer. Sometimes we will add examples of emails to give the designer inspiration for the email. The designer will then design the email in Figma.
- Schedule campaign emails
Once emails are approved, youll be responsible for creating the campaign and scheduling it in Klaviyo using our SOP. This involves adding the Subject lines, preview text, from name, the list we are sending to, any split tests we are running for the campaign, send time, and send date.
- Implement emails into flows
For any emails that are written and designed for flows - Once the email is created in Klaviyo and approved, it can be added into a flow as a split test against the current/original email.
- Manage monthly campaign calendars
We will work together to create monthly content calendars based on holidays, brand promos, product launches, etc. It will be your responsibility to make sure that emails are designed approved and scheduled ahead of time to eliminate any issues and to be sure to incorporate the client's promos, etc into the content calendar
- Report/Log Split test results
Since we will be running a lot of split tests, reporting and monitoring these results will be crucial to consistent improvement in the accounts of our clients. This is how we see whats working, whats not, and what we can do to be better. As for reporting for clients, we send weekly reports based on what we have done the past week, what we plan on doing next week and any insights wed like to share with the client. We send these on Mondays or Fridays (haven't decided what day is better yet) We also send end-of-month reports.
- Communicating with the team
This means communicating with Michael and the designers to get emails approved, revised, designed, and implemented into our client's Klaviyo accounts
- Communicating with Clients
You will handle any back-and-forth communication with clients on revisions as well as send the weekly and monthly reports to clients via Slack
- Write email copy and create briefs for flows and campaigns using our strategies.

Prompt for first-draft email copy ideas based on client goals
Conduct quick market research or competitor research
Generate subject lines, CTAs, and variations on email angles
Use AI to speed up repetitive work while still applying judgment and critical thinking
This is not about becoming an AI expert but about knowing how to use these tools as leverage to do better work, faster.

Youre going to be writing a lot of email copy. There will be templates and examples to go off, but we're always looking for ways to get better results, come up with new email angles, and sell more of our clients products to their email list.
- Problem Solving:
Youre going to be managing the day to day improvements of our clients Klaviyo accounts. There will be unforeseen problems that need to be solved, so youll need to be able to handle the pressure and think critically based on your experience. Were always looking for ways to better serve our clients by optimizing their accounts to produce more email revenue.
- Communication and Innovation:
Be able to update the team on your work and latest findings. Copy is intangible in a way, meaning its almost fully thought-based. Being able to share your
the thought process clearly and transparently is important.
- Honesty/Humility:
Being able to admit when youre stuck, need help, or made a mistake is important so we can assist you or fix a problem. Ive messed up more times than I can count, its part of the game. Clients and team members appreciate this.
- Hunger // Work ethic:
If clients are getting good results, we should still be thinking about how they can be even better. If clients are getting poor results, you need to continue working and thinking of new angles to get them back on track.
- Attention to detail:
The SMALLEST details with email marketing can bring huge results. Be process oriented and observant of the small details in each email such as typos, uneven borders, etc.
- High standards:
Youre tasked with writing email copy and overseeing the finished email design which will directly determine whether we get results for clients or not, make sure youre putting your best effort in.
- Poise:
Handling criticism and complaints from clients is all part of the game. Be able to react positively and adjust properly.
Account Manager Position Description:
- Time
- You will have the freedom to make your own schedule. As long as your daily tasks are done, it doesnt matter what time you do the work!
You will be expected to be online M-F from around 9 to 5, unless you give advance notice that you will not be available.
You will also be expected to be available to communicate through slack 9am-5pm EST daily.
This position is remote. So you will have the freedom to work from anywhere.
You may request off anytime with advanced notice.
- You will have the freedom to make your own schedule. As long as your daily tasks are done, it doesnt matter what time you do the work!
- Compensation:
$3000 - $3500 for full time
