Wholesale Broker

Casualty (Commercial & Personal),Property(Commercial & Personal) & Professional Liability

Responsible for servicing a growing book of business within the Casualty/Property/Professional Liability practice. Supports the effort to build relationships with clients and maintain a high level of responsiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Compares coverages & policy language for placement of new & renewal business
  • Underwrites new business & existing renewals to determine carrier acceptability &
    competitive pricing
  • Review submissions & provide decisions on which markets to access for various types of
    coverage, rates & prepares quotes
  • Prepares complex insurance submissions for brokerage markets
  • Develops new & existing agent/client relationships with both formally and informally to gather feedback
  • Attends company events which host our carriers to strengthen our rapport

Requirements:

  • Prior experience supporting Casualty Brokerage Practice and/or Retail Agency experience.
  • Professional negotiation, interpersonal, written, & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize & multi-task with a sense of urgency
    Demonstrate proper judgement & decision-making skills
  • Capable of marketing, quoting, & binding of all Commercial Lines Risks
    Strong Organizational & Time Management Skill
