Description

One of our business sectors at Zaka is AI Consultancy. As part of our consulting services, we develop in-house machine learning solutions for businesses and enterprises. A Machine Learning Intern will be assisting in the development and implementation of AI solutions to cater to industry needs. 

Location: Remote
Start Date: Immediate
Terms of Hire: 3 to 6 months 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Understand the technical aspect of Artificial Intelligence and fundamental concepts

• Develop solutions to solve a predefined problem from industry projects

• Write code (with documentation when needed) mainly using Python on Jupyter notebooks

• Communicate and review solution development with Project Lead

• Familiar with Agile development strategy

• Coordinate finalized solution with Project Lead

• Complete projects while ensuring that the solutions meet all company standards and receive final approval 

Qualifications

• Experience required: 0 to 3 years

• Bachelor's Degree in related field: Engineering, Computer Science

• Proven experience in technical projects (preferably in the area of Machine Learning)

• Experience with coding (preferably Python)

• Experience writing Jupyter notebooks

• Research experience 

• Works autonomously

• Strong communication and verbal skills

• Strong interpersonal skills as well as a solid team spirit and a positive mentality

• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, adapt, manage tasks efficiently, and attentive to deadlines
