Feed Mill Manager

Position Overview

Zimmerman Feed & Grain is currently looking for a feed mill manager. The feed mill manager directs and coordinates all mill activities required to produce quality feed in an efficient manner. This role blends a passion for quality feed production with strong people leadership abilities.

Job Functions

• Oversee all feed mill operations and personnel
• Accurately set goals for direct reports
• Batching and pelleting feed
• Dispatching finished feed delivery
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment
• Perform routine housekeeping
• Operate a forklift
• Must be able to work under adverse conditions (dust, heat, cold, etc. and lift 50 pounds)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Time Expectations

• 50+ hours per week
• Likely 4:30 am to 3:30 pm
