Truck Driver

Position Overview

The Truck Driver plays a key role in safely and efficiently hauling grain and feed ingredients using a hopper-bottom trailer. This position is ideal for someone who values accuracy, dependable service, and representing ZFGI's values on every trip. You'll ensure timely deliveries, maintain a strong focus on safety and equipment care, and provide excellent customer service to our partners and clients.

Core Responsibilities

• Haul grain and ingredients in an accurate and safe manner
• Providing excellent customer service
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Accurately follow and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required
• 3 years of experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to climb up and down ladders
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Random drug testing

Time Expectations

• 50 hours per week
• Likely 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Harvest involves increased hours
