Huxley Bertram is engineering transformation. By designing, developing and building special purpose machines and automated equipment, we transform production for our clients. At the same time, we continue to develop, collaborate, learn and support together, individually, and as a company, and with our clients. We promote autonomy in our work, and we want to do more for society and the environment.

Our solutions operate in many industries such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, packaging, aluminium processing, and new clean technologies like hydrogen fuel cells and next generation nuclear. Our machines are based around in the world, in the UK, across Europe, North and South America, Asia and Japan.

We design and supply innovative equipment which often incorporate pick and place, servo-hydraulic control, robotic handling, vision systems, PLC/ PC based control, process analysis and much more. Our expert teams enjoy engineering and have a strong desire to be involved in all aspects of a client's project: from discussing the initial issues and design inception, right through to system creation, delivery and commissioning.

The company was founded in 1979 by William Bertram and Stewart Huxley, both Cambridge University Engineering graduates. Today, we are based in Waterbeach, near Cambridge (UK), and we now have over 35,000 sqft of manufacturing space and offices.

We really are engineering transformation, for our clients and for ourselves. We find that exciting. We always have and we always will. If you feel the same, reach out to join our team.
