Asst. Project Manager - Stone & Tiling Works
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Assistant Project Manager with proven experience in stone and tiling works within the construction or fit-out industry. This role is ideal for a professional who can work independently, manage project documentation, coordinate with suppliers/contractors, and support the project manager in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget--all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing stone and tiling works for ongoing projects.
- Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and the internal team for materials, schedules, and deliverables.
- Track progress, monitor timelines, and prepare status reports.
- Assist in quality checks, ensuring work meets design, technical, and safety standards.
- Handle project documentation, approvals, and follow-ups.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in stone and tiling works in the construction or fit-out sector (AEC industry background preferred).
- Strong understanding of materials, installation techniques, and finishing standards.
- Excellent project coordination and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project tracking tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
