Commercial Kitchen Drafter (Remote | AEC Industry)
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Commercial Kitchen Drafter to support design and drafting requirements for commercial kitchen projects. The ideal candidate has experience in food service layouts, equipment planning, and coordination with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings and layouts for commercial kitchens
- Develop equipment layouts, elevations, and shop drawings
- Interpret architectural and MEP drawings for coordination
- Ensure designs comply with international standards and codes
- Coordinate with designers, engineers, and project teams
- Revise drawings based on client comments and markups
- Maintain accuracy and quality in all drafting outputs
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Commercial Kitchen Drafter or similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and layout standards
- Experience working on hospitality, hotel, or restaurant projects
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Good English communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international clients (US, UK, Middle East)
- Background in food service design or kitchen consultancy firms
- Familiarity with equipment brands and specifications
