About the job Senior Sales Consultant (Europe) - REMOTE

We are looking for senior sales consultants to support the top management and consulting practice leaders of africon GmbH in developing the top-line business. You will manage the company's sales funnel, engage with key sales decision-makers, advise potential clients on Africa strategy solutions, and convert proposals into sales.

Role:

  • Develop new sales channels to grow our existing business and increase engagement with external partners to foster our offerings.
  • Actively drive sales of our existing portfolio in close cooperation with industry/ practice leaders managing automotive, industrial machinery, health care and others.
  • Identify new areas of growth for africon.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their challenges with growth in Africa and develop custom offerings based on their needs.
  • Gather and analyze information on current market solutions and use these to further develop africon's existing service offerings.
  • Keep track of all sales KPIs and analyze them accordingly to recommend strategic ways to improve sales and business development.
  • Lead the sales team to achieve sales objectives whilst fostering collaboration and open feedback. Manage clients' expectations and create new offerings that address clients' problems.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with good academic achievements.
  • 6+ years of previous experience working with top consulting companies, especially in converting proposals to sales.
  • Strong experience in a fast-paced sales environment and skilled in proposal development for a wide range of industry verticals.
  • Proven track record of successful sales deals demonstrating a history of growing a consulting business.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to interact with a diverse range of potential clients.
  • Experience and understanding of working with multicultural teams.
  • Able to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be fluent in the English language. German is a plus.
  • Have a good listening ability and ask the right questions.
  • Sales leader possessing a strong service mentality towards potential and existing clients.
  • Cultural experience in working in a European country or company. Experience with Africa related projects is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
