We're hiring a Certified Senior Engineer – Type Rated H215 (M/F/X) to help maintain peak aircraft performance in mission-critical environments.
Certified Senior Engineer – Type Rated H215 (M/F/X)

Aircraft Type: Airbus Helicopters H215
Reports to: Chief Engineer
Your Role
You will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and certifying Airbus H215 helicopters used in demanding firefighting operations. This is a hands-on, safety-critical role that combines high technical standards with real operational impact. Youll work within the framework of EASA Part-145, directly supporting Helions mission readiness.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Airbus H215 aircraft and mission equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, and test airframe, engine, avionics, and hydraulic systems
- Certify work performed under EASA Part-66 privileges
- Use AMM, IPC, SBs, ADs, and digital systems to interpret technical data
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance for aircraft release-to-service
- Coordinate with Planning, Logistics, and Operational teams
- Conduct ground runs and participate in technical flights as required
- Maintain tools, work areas, and ensure compliance with safety/environmental practices
- Support and mentor junior mechanics as needed
- Adapt to operational constraints, including rapid turnaround for firefighting missions
QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) Responsibilities
- Follow ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001-based internal procedures
- Apply safety protocols, wear required PPE, and report incidents or non-conformities
- Support audits, continuous improvement, and QSE briefings
- Promote responsible environmental practices (e.g., waste sorting, emissions reduction)
- Contribute to operational excellence by ensuring high-quality maintenance and safety-first behavior
Required Skills and Qualifications
- EASA Part-66 License: B1.3 and/or B2 with H215 type rating
- At least 5 years of rotary-wing maintenance experience, ideally in firefighting or special mission aircraft
- Strong understanding of EASA Part-145 requirements
- Experience with OEM manuals and digital documentation platforms
- Fluent in English (spoken & written); Greek and/or French is a plus
- Regulatory training: Human Factors, EWIS, FOD, SMS, and Part-145
- High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
- Experience supervising technical teams or mentoring junior mechanics is a plus
